Our vision is to be a people who come together to know Jesus intimately, share His transforming love within our communities and, with love for one another, build a faith for generations to come.

A church with Jesus as our singular focus. Our identity. Our anchor. Our lens.

WHAT DO WE DO

We live out the Greatest Commandment and the Great Commission (Matthew 22 and 28). This is our action. It flows from our identity in Christ.

NHU FOUNDATION PRIORITIES

Based on Acts 2:44–47, these define how we live out our mission as a church. Everything we do aligns with our priorities.

Biblical Literacy & Discipleship: Teaching and growing through the Word.

Internal Community: Building deep, authentic fellowship and shared spiritual growth.

External Community: Serving each other and reaching people beyond our walls with the love of Christ.

Growth & Sustainability: Strengthening the church for future generations.

OUR COMMITMENTS

As a part of the body of Christ, this is what we each commit to doing. Each commitment connects to a foundational priority. Every personal step supports and expands the vision of the church.

Worship: Rooted in the Word and presence of God. A life rooted in Scripture, prayer, and pursuing Jesus daily.

Fellowship: Living in an authentic community. Being connected in meaningful relationships and spiritual community

Service: Actively loving others in word and deed. Using your gifts to serve others and share the Gospel in daily life.

Giving: Fueling the mission with time, gifts, and resources. Faithfully giving time, talents, and resources to support the mission.

Encounter Jesus (Biblical Literacy & Discipleship + Worship)

Start and stay rooted in worship, prayer, and the Word. Know who Jesus is and build your life on Him.

Grow in Community (Internal Community + Fellowship)

Build real relationships with other believers. Live authentically, encourage, and be encouraged.

Live on Mission (External Community + Service)

Step into the field. Serve our church, neighbors, coworkers, and strangers with love and truth. Live sent, just like Jesus.

Build the Kingdom (Growth & Sustainability + Giving)

Invest your time, talents, and treasures to strengthen God's work at NHU and beyond. Leave a legacy of faith.
